It’s the traumatic events that these people face on a regular basis that facilitate the problematic relationship between first responders and alcohol.

As the wife and mother of police officers for nearly 35 years, Deanna McGrath LPC is uniquely qualified to provide counseling to the men and women in law enforcement. Her experience as a registered nurse and her professional work with all types of first responders and veterans has helped her hone a style that allows for quick connection and the establishment of a trusting relationship necessary for successful therapy. She is EMDR-Certified. As a graduate of Denver Seminary, Deanna is able to integrate psychology and spirituality when desired by clients.
